COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 1
Clinton beat Columbia Central Friday night 7-1. Aubrey Lauer started the night off scoring with an assist from Cassie McNatt in the first 7 minutes of the game. Clara Helguera put a ball through the defense to set up Lauer to score 10 minutes later. Anna Schaffner set up a great combo where Lauer finished in the back of the net. With 1 minute left Lauer gets a PK to make the game 4-0 at half. After half Columbia Central came in with fire to score their first goal of the game. Paige Shankland calls for the ball on the back post with Allison Bowles giving the assist. Bowles finds Aubrey to score a minute later. Bowles does it again finding McNatt to score the 7th goal of the night ending the game 7-1. Bre Ramos had 3 saves and Leanne Mercier had 5 saves. Clinton plays on Monday April 23rd at home at 5:30 in Clinton.
