The boys JV basketball traveled to Lourdes University on Saturday afternoon to take on the Bobcats of Whiteford from the TCC conference. The game would not be settled until the final buzzer as Clinton would prevail with hard fought 47-44 win to improve to 11-2 overall.

Much of the first half was a back and forth contest as Whiteford would lead after the first quarter by a score of 12-10. The Redwolves would get some control in the second quarter and go into halftime up 23-21. Clinton extended the lead in the quarter to 32-27 where they would hang on for the win, thanks in large part to putting the game away at the free throw line, going 9 for 12 from the line in the final quarter. 

Calen Keith and Quinn Walden each scored 15 points apiece. They would also grab 7 rebounds apiece, and Keith dished out 3 assists. Chase Gillman added 6 points, all coming in the second half. Preston Cruz 4 points, Brodie Stipe 3 points, Gabe Manchester 3 points, and Devon Trent 1 point completed the scoring for the Redwolves. 

The JV team will get back to work next Thursday with a road game at Hudson.
