Once again Mother Nature didn’t want the Redwolves to get games in, planned for a 3 game day, only got one complete game in.
Clinton beat Haslett 15-1 in a 5 inning mercy rule. Kendall Phillip earned the win, allowing one run, just 1 hit and 4 k’s in 2 innings. Taryn Hernandez came in relief due to Phillip’s injury. She finished the final 3 innings allowing no hits with one walk and 6 strikeouts.
Emma Fair was in charge of the offense, going 3-5 with 4 RBI. Hernandez was 2-2 with 3 RBI. Ava Ormsby was 2-4 with 2 rbi, and Raven Aldridge added a 2-RBI single to the mix. Noelle Riley was 1-2 with an RBI triple. Phillip had the other RBI in the game.
Clinton stands at 15-3, 7-0 in LCAA play.
