In girl’s 7th grade volleyball action last night it was the mighty Redwolves over the visiting Viking of Dundee. Clinton used a total team effort to capture another LCAA win by defeating the Vikings 25-11, 25-19, 25-10.

Gabby Cordova had 8 points 3 aces 1 Kill
Rillie Shepherd had 7 points 4 aces
Kylinn Long had 5 points 2 Kills 2 Assists

Ashlynn Benschoter had 4 points 2 Aces 2 kills
Kaylin Sposite had 3 points 3 kills
Abi Ureche had 3 point with 1 Kill

With the win Clinton now stands at 5-1 in the LCAA
8th grade volleyball
On Wednesday, October 6, the Clinton 8th Grade Volleyball team lost to the Dundee Vikings with scores of 16-25, 19-25, and 25-22. Lydia Ormsby led the team in serving with 7 points and 2 aces. Other scorers on the night were Brailey Gibson with 6 points, Riley Roberts with 4 points (1 ace), Annabell Preston with 3 points, Layana Culver with 3 points (1 ace), Jackie Whiting with 3 points (2 aces), Finnley Faulkner with 2 points, Korynn Allen with 2 points, and Morgan Hill and Ava Ostrander with 1 point a piece.
The Redwolves struggled offensively to receive the ball, however, Korynn Allen managed to put up 6 assists. Finnley Faulkner and Jackie Whiting each had 3 kills a piece, as well as a block. Emma Neff, Cora Harsh, and Morgan Hill all registered 1 kill a piece. Defensively, Riley Roberts, Lydia Ormsby, and Braily Gibson each had 4 digs in the game. The Redwolves are on the road Monday, October 11 to face the Hudson Tigers. The team currently stands at 3-3 in the LCAA.
