The Clinton girls 7th grade volleyball team defeated the Blissfield Royals on their home court winning the decision game 25-21. Clinton split with Blissfield in the first two sets Clinton won the first while Blissfield won the second. For the final game the Redwolve’s tighten up on their serve Receive Passing and were able to capture the victory with awesome serving and great net play.

Kylinn Long led the Redwolves with 8 service points 6 aces, 3 Kills, 3 digs, 2 assists.

Ashlynn Benschoter had 8 service points 5 aces 4 Kills 1 assist 1 dig

Avery Loftis had 7 service points 4 aces 1 assist 

Gabby Cordova had 6 points 1 kill

Emma Pask had 3 points 2 aces 1 dig

Abby Martinez had 2 points and 2 kills

Bella Brannon had 2 points 1 ace

Zoey Utz had 1point

Clinton improves their record to 6-2 in the LCAA

Their next contest is home on Monday vs Ida.

On Wednesday, October 13, the Clinton 8th Grade Volleyball team defeated the Blissfield Royals with scores of 23-25, 25-8, and 25-22.  Jackie Whiting led the team in serving with 14 service points and 3 aces.  Other scorers included Korynn Allen with 13 points (8 aces), Lydia Ormsby with 7 points (2 aces), Annabel Preston with 5 points (2 aces), Genevieve Urban with 4 points (2 aces), Cora Harsh with 4 points (3 aces), and Megan Hammarberg with 4 points (2 aces).  

Mia Calucci did a phenomenal job during serve reception and as a defensive specialist passing the first ball of a series.   Korynn Allen and Megan Hammarburg were responsible for setting up the team's offensive attack.   Megan had 3 assists in the match and Korynn contributed 2.  Finnley Faulkner dominated the net with 4 kills and 1 solo block.  Jackie Whiting, Gabbi Pearce,  and Brailey Gibson all had 1 kill apiece.   The team currently stands at 4-4 in the LCAA.
