The Redwolves Track and Field team participated in the Lenawee County Championships at Sand Creek on Tuesday. Mason Brodie won the county championship in both the shot put with a distance of 45'-6" and the discus with a distance of 142'-3" and Brynn Frederick won the county championship in the 200m with a time of 27.21.

This meet was limited to the top 16 runners and top 12 in field events in the county, including larger schools such as Adrian and Tecumseh. Also, earning medals on the day for the women were Morgan Hill (3rd - high jump), Samantha Coots (4th - 3200m),  Kaylie Livingston (4th - discus), Griffin Faulkner (4th - pole vault, 6th - 100m), and Katelyn Baker (6th - 100m hurdles with a personal best of 18.42). The 4x100 team of Griffin Faulkner, Katelyn Baker, Brynn Frederick, and Ashlynn Phillips and the 4x400 team of Morgan Hill, Brynn Frederick, Tabitha Ureche, and Kira Wilson also finished 4th earning medals.

Also earning medals for the men were Gabe Manchester (3rd - 3200m), Trevor Lakatos (3rd - shot put, 5th - discus), Eli Turner (4th - high jump), Zak Shadley (4th - long jump with a personal best of 19'-7"), and Brenden Benschoter (5th - long jump with a personal best of 19'-4").

The last meet of the season is the state championship where Mason Brodie will be competing in the discus and the shot put on Saturday June 3 at Kent City HS.
