Varsity wrestling wins team district tournament

The varsity wrestling team traveled to Sand Creek Wednesday for the team district portion of the state tournament. The Redskins left with the trophy after losing only one match all night and securing a 67-6 victory. The win moves the record of the 3rd ranked Redskins to 26-4 on the season. The team will be in action Saturday at Lutheran Westland high school for individual districts. Next Wednesday the team will travel to Memphis High school for the team regional with a spot in the final 8 on the line.
