CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe Clinton Wrestling Team won a Regional Championship on Wednesday, Feb. 18th at Capac High School. The third ranked Redwolves dominated in regional competition as they defeated Clarkston Everest Collegiate and Manchester to win the championship. This is the 10th Regional Championship in a row and 11th in 13 years for the Redwolves. In the Regional Semi Finals Clinton down Clarkston Everest Collegiate 64-16. The match started at 132 pounds and Max Delphy started the night out, but lost his match 7-19. Grady Aldridge picked up a win at 138 pounds and Justice Arnett earned a pin at 144 pounds. Austin Putnam and Tanner Bolton each won at 150 and 157 pounds. Shane Cook picked up a pin at 165 pounds for the Redwolves. Following Cook's pin was Jacob Pope pinning his opponent at 175 pounds and Bowen Fielder pinning his opponent at 190 pounds. 9 State Qualifiers
CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe Wrestling Team traveled to Whitmore Lake for the MHSAA Individual Regionals on Saturday, Feb. 21st. Clinton had 13 regional qualifiers and finished the day with 9 state qualifiers. At 106 pounds Hudson Miller placed second after two pins on the day and lost a close 0-1 match in the finals. Hudson Qualified for the MHSAA Individual State Championships at Ford Field March 6th & 7th. At 113 pounds Junior Zach Taylor punched his ticket to Ford Field for the second straight year by taking 4th at Regionals. At 132 pounds sophomore Brock Worden lost in the qualifying round to just miss out on a return trip to Ford Field. At 138 Sophomore Wyatt Cooley lost in the qualifying round as well to just miss his opportunity to wrestle at state. Senior Brenden Benschoter wrestled through some adversity and fell short of qualifying at 144 pounds. Wrestlers Qualify for Individual Regionals
CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe wrestling team competed in the MHSAA Individual District Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 14th hosted by Clinton. The Redwolves qualified 13 out of 14 possible wrestlers for individual regionals at Whitmore Lake on Saturday, Feb. 21st starting at 10:30am. To qualify you have to place in the top four of your individual weight class. Clinton did so in dominant fashion. Clinton had four District Champions, Four Runner Ups, and five third place finishers. Brock Worden placed 2nd at 132 pounds after picking up two pins on his way to the finals. Wyatt Cooley placed 3rd at 138 pounds after going 3-1 on the day. Wyatt picked up a pin, an 11-10 decision and a 10-6 decision in his final match. At 144 pounds Brenden Benschoter placed third with two pins and a 13-0 major decision. CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe Clinton Redwolves Wrestling Team putting the finishing touches on an MHSAA Division 4 Team District Championship on Wednesday, Feb. 11th at Monroe St. Mary's Catholic Central. Clinton opened with SMCC in the district semi final and came away with a dominant 54-23 win. Winning matches were Brock Worden at 132 with a score of 15-8, Wyatt Cooley won by major decision 10-0 at 138 pounds. Brenden Benschoter picked up the pin at 144 pounds. Jaxon Phillip grabbed a pin of his own at 150 pounds. Austin Putnam dropped his match at 157 pounds. Braxton Randolph picked up a pin at 165 pounds. Landon Lakatos pinned his opponent at 175 pounds. Wrestling Hosts LCAA Championships
CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe wrestling program hosted the two day LCAA Dual Championships on Friday, Feb. 6th and Saturday Feb. 7th. Friday night Clinton opened the tournament with a 57-24 win over Ida. Winning matches were Hudson Miller, Zach Taylor, Wyatt Cooley, Brenden Benschoter, Tanner Bolton, Braxton Randolph, Cliff Jones, Landon Lakatos, Bryce Randolph, and Gradyn Whelan. In the second match of the night Clinton competed against the division 3 state champions and lost. Zach Taylor won a great match against the defending state champion and Gradyn Whelan lost a close match at the buzzer at 215. Saturday the Redwolves started out against Hillsdale and came away with a 61-18 win. Winners were Hudson Miller, Zach Taylor, Brock Worden, Wyatt Cooley, Brenden Benschoter, Jaxon Phillip, Braxton Randolph, Bryce Randolph, Landon Lakatos, Owen Wright, and Gradyn Whelan. CoEd Varsity BowlingFeb. 5, 2026 – Clinton vs. OnstedIn a tough matchup, the Boys Varsity team fell to Onsted 7–23 after dropping both Baker games and securing only three individual points. Despite the loss, Clinton showed confidence under pressure. Nolan Gala led the way with games of 212 and 196, while Gage Ison (193), Mitchel Reiser (180), and Jack Patterson (168) also delivered strong performances. While we may have lost this match, I’m proud of each bowler for maintaining team spirit, sportsmanship and composure.The Girls Varsity team defeated Onsted with a strong 25.5–4.5. Sweeping the Baker games and total pinfall, Clinton took five individual games. Cora Harsh had new personal highs with a 222 and 172 games, which is also her new high series. Sierra Welch also helped the team with games of 190 and 154.Clinton Junior Varsity wrapped up the night with a thrilling 16–14 win in a very close match. Splitting the Baker games and total pinfall, the JV team clinched the victory with four individual wins.

CoEd Varsity BowlingFeb. 4, 2026 – Clinton vs. Ida The Varsity Boys split the Baker games against Ida but came up short in total pinfall, dropping the match 8–22. Josh Kaufman led with a 200, followed by strong games from Jett Hess (177) and Jack Patterson (168).The Clinton Girls Varsity team put on a near-perfect performance, allowing Ida just half a point in a dominant 29.5–0.5 victory. Sierra Welch and Kaylin Phifer each rolled impressive 157 games to help seal the win.Clinton’s JV squad continued their winning streak with another victory 27–3. Sweeping both Baker games and conceding only three individual points, the team was led by Gage Ison’s outstanding 180, a new personal best from Laiya Winters with a 141, and a 128 from Marcus Smead.

Bryce Randolph Wins 4th County Championship
CoEd Varsity WrestlingOn Friday, Jan. 30th Adrian College hosted the annual Lenawee County Meet, where only the top four wrestlers in each weight class are invited to compete for a county championship. This unique event in highlighted by Adrian College and also showcases the Lenawee Hall of Fame Inductees each year before the finals. This year Clinton's own David Beazley was inducted in the HOF. Clinton qualified 12 of 14 weight classes and three girls for a total of 15 Redwolves at the county meet. The girls finals were first with sophomore Khloie Miller capturing her second county championship at 120 pounds. She picked up two pins on the night. Mollie Clark finished as runner up as did Emily Charlton for the Redwolves. For the boys Hudson Miller placed fourth at 106 pounds. Zach Taylor was third at 120 pounds. CoEd Varsity WrestlingThe Redwolves traveled to Lapeer on Friday, Jan. 23rd for a varsity tournament. Clinton was was to get a lot of matches leading into the weekend off. Hudson Miller went 3-2 placing third at 106 pounds for the Redwolves with two pins and a 7-5 decision. Brock Worden picked up 3rd place as well at 132 pounds. Wyatt Cooley placed 4th at 138 pounds after a couple of nice wins with a pin and a 10-1 major decision. At 144 pounds Brenden Benschoter placed 2nd after picking up three pins on the night. Tanner Bolton picked up a technical fall and a pin on his way to a third place finish at 150 pounds. At 157 pounds Braxton Randolph dropped a tough 11-12 decision, then picked up three pins in a row to earn 2nd place. Clifford Jones competed at 165 pounds and went 5-0 to win the championship, behind two major decision wins, a technical fall and a pin.
