The Clinton Middle School Cross Country program will look to continue its competitiveness in 2026. The 2025 campaign was successful in which the program captured 14 trophies/plaques and 130 medals. The Redwolves will open their season at Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm on September 10. “The kids have been working really hard to get ready for the race season. This group has logged many miles this summer and they are very excited for the start of the 2026 campaign.” The girls team will bring back 80% of its scoring from 2025 along with an influx of talented new runners. The team will return the following runners: Olivia Gibson, Azalea Naugle, Laura Ruesink, Ella Schaffner, and Hailey Wegman. Newcomers to the girls team include Rena Cogar, Abby Jurasek, Peyton Ahearn, Penelope Forgiel, Eve Gurica, MacKenzie Roberts, Tessa Ruesink, Nadia Tobar, and Breslyn White. The boys team will look to build upon its successes in 2026 with a wealth of returning talent and key additions. The team will return the following runners: Ryan Lighthall, Owen LeBlanc, Blake Dutton, Cole Houghton, Maverick Miller, Ethan Rejc, Brayden Rubio, Everest Thompson, and Zachary Wellday. Newcomers to the boys team include Julian Martinez, Sawyer Schanz, Bennett Walters, Leo Wojewski, Cullen Handy, Samuel Berzkalns, and Caleb LeBlanc (mgr).
