Clinton Beats LCAA Foe Hudson at Wegner Field

By Payne Staton | Oct 13, 2026 9:52 AM

Clinton’s JV football team took on Hudson on Monday night and were able to come away with another hard fought victory. The game started with an 11 play drive capped off by a 6 yard touchdown run from Noah Jenkins, and a two point conversion by Brady Ahlers. Clinton’s defense would get some field position help from a touchback by kicker Aiden Hall, and then forcing a 3 and out. The Redwolves would not wait long to score again, as Brayden Lauer would take the hand off and go 58 yards for the score. With Hudson driving down the field on their next possession, it was Drew Porter, amongst others, on the defense that would come up with a huge 4th down stop in the redzone to get the Redwolves the ball back. Hudson would end up getting the ball back and come down and score, but Lauer would quickly return the favor on the following offensive play for Clinton, this time going 60 yards for the score. Leeland Korpusik would have tremendous blocks on both of these plays that helped Lauer to score. In the second half, Clinton really came out strong as they forced a Hudson three and out to start the half and took lots of time off the clock with a couple of commanding drives. It was Gannon Pearce that got Clinton back in the scoring column on a 5 yard run of his own. Tucker Hessling played well for the Redwolves and was a major presence for Clinton in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Clinton’ next task is the Bluestreaks of Ida as they travel there next Monday, October 12th. Kickoff is at 6 pm.
