Clinton Varsity came out tonight with a 3-1 start in the LCAA standing. Beating Hillsdale 25-11, 25-20, Dundee 25-18, 14-25, 15-9, and Onsted 25-20, 25-11. Clinton had a close loss to Blissfield 20-25, 23-25, to start the tournament but quickly recovered for the night winning the next three games. The leaders for the evening were Nalani Schanz with 56 assists, Kaylee Kranz had 19 kills, Lauren Sheneman had 15 kills, as well as Sammy Starnes and Noelle Riley each earning 12 kills. Our defense was led by Noelle Riley with 33 digs, Sophia Sheneman 31 digs, and Robin Mull with 28 digs. The girls had a great night of play where everyone had a hand in each victory. It's a great start to our league play and we are excited to continue to grow and learn.
