Friday the Varsity Football Team hosted Hillsdale for an LCAA contest and came out with a 36-0 shutout win.  The win improves the Redwolves record to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the LCAA.  Clinton rushed for 349 yards on the night and passed for another 84 yards for a total of 433 yards of offense.  The Hornets of Hillsdale were held to 52 yards rushing and 60 yards passing for a total of 112 yards on the night.  Starting the scoring was Joey Preston on a one yard run for a touchdown, the two point conversion failed.  Entering the second quarter Joey Preston found the endzone again, this time from eight yards out for another Redwolves touchdown.  Nike Shadley caught the two point conversion pass from Andy Fair to make it 14-0 Clinton.  Andy Fair found the endzone with a 20 yard run of his own for a touchdown.  Going into halftime Clinton 20 Hillsdale 0.  

The scoring was started again by Joey Preston with a fourteen yard run for his third touchdown of the night.  Nik Shadley caught another pass from Andy Fair for the two point conversion to make it 28-0.  Cole Breitenwischer found the endzone on a one yard run for a touchdown and followed that up with a two point conversion run to finish the scoring for the Redwolves at 36, Hillsdale 0.  

Leading Rushers were Cole Breitenwischer with 76 yards on 14 attempts, a touchdown, and a two point conversion.  Nik Shadley had 74 yards on 8 attempts. Joey Preston had 67 yards on 12 attempts and three touchdowns.  Andy Fair had 60 yards on 5 attempts and a touchdown.  Jake Felts had 36 yards on 7 attempts.  Brenden Benschoter had 22 yards on 1 attempt.  Bryce Randolph had 18 yards on 3 attempts.  Iam Williams and Macray Connors each had rushing attempts as well.  Andy Fair was 4 for 5 totaling 84 yards as well as two pass completions to Nik Shadley for two point conversions.  Mason Brodie hauled in two passes for 55 yards.  Brenden Benschoter grabbed a pass for 15 yards, and Jake Felts had a reception for 14 yards. Clinton did not punt on the night.  Offensive pancake blocks were racked up by Teddy Pizio with 4, Wyatt Hicks with 3, Nate Page, Bryce Randolph, and Jake Felts each had 2.  Jack Gilroy and Brenden Breitenwischer each had one.  Leading tackler was Teddy Pizio with 6, Bryce Randolph, Wyatt Hicks, and Joey Preston each had four tackles apiece.  Tackles for a loss were made by Teddy Pizio with 5, Breitenwischer and Randolph with 2 each, Preston and Shadley each had one.  Wyatt Hicks forced a fumble and recovered the fumble.  Offensive Player of the Game was Joey Preston with three touchdowns on the night.  Defensive Player of the Game was Teddy Pizio with 6 tackles and 5 for a loss.  Special Teams Player of the Game was Wyatt Hicks for his kicking placements.  Red Army Player of the Week was Jack Gilroy for stepping in when needed.  Captain of the Week is Andy Fair for his leadership on and off the field.  This Friday, Oct. 20th Clinton will play Hudson for the season finale at 7pm before the playoffs start the following week.  Thank you for the support.
