COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 48
The boys JV basketball team had their second game of the season on Tuesday evening at home vs Columbia Central. The game was the LCAA opener for both teams. Columbia came away with a 48-29 victory.
Both teams couldn't get anything going on the offensive end as Columbia took a 14-11 lead to the locker room at halftime. Columbia was able to keep the defense going in the second half while beginning to put the ball in the hoop and slowly kept pulling away from the Redwolves.
Eli Turner finished the night with 11 points. Calen Keith, Chase Gillman, Devon Trent, Quinn Walden, and Teagan Zbikowski also reached the scoring column for Clinton.
The JV team will try to get back on track on Friday when they head to Blissfield for their first road game of the season.
