The Redskins 8th Grade team was on the road last night, as they traveled to play the Trojans of Madison. The Trojans handed the Redskins a loss by the score of 38-16. "We played a great game tonight despite the score. We continue to get better and show it in the games. Tonight we passed the ball extremely well on fast breaks and our entry passes. Our nemesis of not finishing again hurt us. We were down 16-8 at halftime, but our ability to put the ball in the basket hurt us in the second half. But man the boys played hard as Brandon Johnson stood his ground tonight and took a hard charge for his team, in the first quarter. Leading the way point wise for the team were Brandon Johnson 4pts, Teddy Pizio 3pts, Seth Root 3pts, Bryce Rosacrans 2pts and Nate Page 2pts. The team travels to Madison again this Saturday Dec.7th at 3:15, in the county basketball tournament. Proud of the teams effort and hustle tonight." commented Coach Ramos
