Clinton wins Game 2 in 7 innings of play, the score was 8-6. Pitching was a team effort, but Lily Thompson gets the win, allowing 3 hits with 3 walks. Payton Hernandez came in relief and made it to the top of the 7th with 2 outs. She had 6 walks, 3 strikeouts, and just 3 hits. Libbi Fair got the final out of the game with the tying run at the plate.

Fair led the offense going 2-3, and opening up the score to 8-2 with a 3 run homerun in the 4th inning. Fair had 4 rbi in the game. Rilee Szczesniak was 2-4 with 2 RBI. Brianna Burton added an RBI double.

Rilee Szczesniak hit her 200th career hit!

Clinton’s record is now 6-4 and will continue play at Madison Wednesday.
