Clinton loses game 1 to Madison 1-2, despite opportunities in the 6th and 7th innings. Lily Thompson was the losing pitcher, allowing 7 hits, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. Madison scored 2 runs in the 1st inning, and Clinton defense was able to hold them the rest of the game.

Rilee Szczesniak led the offense as the only Clinton player with multiple hits. She was 2-3 with a triple. Payton Hernandez scored the lone RBI on a sacrifice fly.
