Clinton came up with 2 wins in tonight's double header against Blissfield.  Sydney Schuler got the first win, going the distance, allowing just 3 hits, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts.  
 

Clinton's offense scored first, worked together through the entire game. They scored 1 in the first, 2 in the 2nd and 3rd innings and 1 more in the 6th. Kendall Phillip and Kyleigh Ramos each had an RBI single, Noelle Riley had a double, and Davia Welch had an RBI. Clinton took advantage of key baserunning situations and passed balls to get the rest of their runs. 
 

Game 2 ended after 6 complete innings due to darkness.  Kendall Phillip picked up the win, going 3.1 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 walk, and 1 strikeout.  Taryn Hernandez finished the 2.2 innings with 4 strikeouts, 2 hits, and 1 walk.  
 

Offensively, Ramos came up big with a 2 RBI double, finishing with 3. Riley was our only multiple hit player going 2-4.  Davia Welch had a big 3 RBI single, Taryn Hernandez had an RBI triple and Raven Aldridge had an RBI single.  Phillip was 1-2 with a pair of walks and a stolen base. Schuler was 1-2 with a walk and SaAC bunt.

Clinton travels to Buchanan Saturday to take on the #2 preseason ranked Div. 3 team and Bloomfield... game times start at noon.
