Clinton 7th grade girls basketball lost a nail biter at Blissfield, 18-17.  

All the girls scored tonight with Addison Loftis leading the pack with 15 points. McKenna Hock 4 points, Josslyn Handy 3 points, Alyssa Piskorowski 2 points, Brooklynn Kranz 2 points, and Alissa O'Brien 2 points.

Our defense did a good job pressuring the ball as we had 17 steals.  The girls played very well in a tight game.  

We are 1-2 on the season.

The Clinton 8th grade girls basketball team suffered their first loss of the season as the Blissfield Royals hung on to capture the win 13-12.

The Redwolves put up 8 points in the final quarter to Blissfield’s 2 points but the time ran out on  the Wolves. Overall, Coach Cornish was pleased with the team’s effort scrambling back from a deficit to make it an exciting finish.

Team Highlights

Erin Burton led the team with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

Molly Sierer led the team with 10 rebounds and 9 points.

Lillian Harden had 4 points.

Joanna Bonica had 3 points and 2 rebounds.

Mya Popkey had 2 rebounds 2 steals and 1 assist 

Emily Farmer had 2 points with 1 assist.

Clinton now stands at 2-1 and will match up with Hudson on Monday.
