John Keibler lost to the number 2 ranked wrestler in the state at 175, and Will Hawkins lost at 190 pounds.  At 215 pounds Wyatt Hicks was wrestling the number 1 kids in the state but gave up a takedown in overtime to lose 8-10.  Hamza Rafferty brought the bench and crowd to their feet as he earned a pin at heavyweight.  Hudson Miller battle the entire match at 106 and came out with a 12-9 win.  Zach Taylor finish the night with a pin at 113 pounds to bring the final score to Clinton 42 Bronson 27.

In other matches during the night we had one girls match where two all state wrestlers battled.  Senior Faith Blackburn battled well, but feel short.  In JV matches Carter Wolff picked up a pin at 138 pounds to put Clinton in the win column.  Keegan Keith stepped in next and lost his match at 144 pounds for Clinton.  Jayden Duplessis came out scrapping and was up 7-5, but a costly mistake lost the match. Shane Cook pick up a first period pin for the Redwolves at 165 pounds.  Then Owen Wright followed that up with another pin at 165 pounds.  At 175 pounds Landon Lakatos lost a tough 1-4 match, as he battled sickness to gut out the match.  At 215 pounds Chance Maddox lost his match in the end 0-7.   Great effort by all and a lot of room for improvement.  Looking forward to getting back to work as the Varsity Redwolves travel to Martin to compete on Friday, Dec. 22nd.
