The Clinton High School Football team used a 30-point third quarter to upend Britton Deerfield, 51-13, on the road Friday Night.
The offensive line, led by Will Felts, Billy Baker, Brandt Brown, Gabe Gibbs, Tyler Bowles and Conner Brodie, turned in a strong performance, allowing the Redskins to rack up 389 rushing yards on 47 carries.
Christian Minard led the way on the ground with 145 yards on 19 carries, including a touchdown. Dylan Settles finished with 74 rushing yards on six carries, including a 42-yard touchdown run, and was 2-for-3 through the air. Noah Deshano added a 38-yard touchdown run on his way to 65 yards on seven carries. Davey Campbell added two rushing touchdowns in the second half.
Noah Comar starred in all three phases of the game, finishing with 76 punt return yards, including a 46-yard return for a touchdown. Comar also hauled in both passes from Settles for 46 yards, and finished with 45 rushing yards and a touchdown on just four carries. Comar was also instrumental on defense, providing solid pass coverage throughout the night.
Jonathan Baughey kicked a 21-yard field goal to open the scoring, and was 6-for-7 on PATs for the night.
Clinton (6-1, 5-0 TCC) will travel to Whiteford Friday to take on the undefeated Bobcats.
