Clinton played their last game of the season against Manchester losing 2-1 in district semi- finals. Clinton's Jimmy Schaffner scored first with an assist from Angel Rubio scoring 11 minutes into the game. Manchester scored 14 minutes later tying the game 1-1. At half the game was tied 1-1. Manchester scored the game winning goal with 14 minutes left in the game. Clinton never backed down and played relentless soccer up until the very last second. Coach was incredibly proud and impressed with their hard work, tenacity, and that they never gave up. Congratulations to Max Hampel, Sam Erickson, Parker Baughey, Bryce Wyman, and Jacob Rothman on an incredible season and truly a remarkable career here at Clinton High School. Their legacy, grit, and memories will live on through years to come.
