In  the LCS Tri- Match, the Clinton JV volleyball team played against two opponents, the LCS Cougars  and the Grass Lake Warriors. In the first match against LCS, Clinton struggled to generate an offense and lost the first set 16 to 25. In  the second set. Clinton improved but LCS still maintained control and won 25 to 22. After the match against LCS Clinton faced the Grass Lake Warriors. In this match, Clinton managed to get their offense rolling and won the first 25 to 21. However, the Warriors fought back and took the second set 25 to 23 forcing a tiebreaker game. In the final set, Clinton won the coin flip and rally behind aggressive serving and scrappy defense. They won the final set 15 to 12 securing the victory and  the match. All three teams finished with a 1-1  record, as Grass Lake defeated LCS.

Clinton now stands at 29-4-4 and will travel to Onsted on Saturday to compete in the JV LCAA tournament.

Kylinn Long had 7 serving points, 2 aces, 7 kills, and 10 digs.

Finnley Faulkner had 6 kills, 2 blocks.

Megan Hammarberg had 6 points, 3 kills, 11 digs, and 9 assists. 

Avery Loftis had 5 serving points, 1 ace, 5 kills, 9 digs, and 18 assists.

Kaylin Sposite had 5 points, 4 kills, and 3 digs.

Bella Bannon had 3 points, 1 ace, 2 kills and 5 digs.

Cora Harsh had 3 kills and 1 assist.

Zoey Utz had 2 assists.
