Clinton finally got back into league play, beating Hudson in a double header.  

Sydney Schuler set the pace, heading into the 7th inning with a perfect game.  Schuler allowed just 1 hit in the first shutout of the evening.  She finished with 11 strikeouts. 

Clinton struggled to connect hits, only scoring 4 runs on 4 hits.  Ava Ormsby was the only player with multiple, going 2-4 with an RBI.  Taryn Hernandez went 1-2 with an RBI single to put Clinton on the board in the second inning.  Emma Fair was 1-1 and Kyleigh Ramos had Clinton’s other RBI. 

Taryn Hernandez commanded the circle in game 2, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, with 12 K’s, shutting out Hudson 8-0. 

Offense was a little more in tune.  Emma Fair was 2-4 with 2 RBI.  Kyleigh Ramos was 2-5 with a big 3 RBI double.  Kendall Phillip was 2-4 with an RBI. Ormsby was 2-3 with a stolen base and Raven Aldridge had a 2-RBI double. 

Clinton improves to 5-0 in LCAA and 12-3 overall as they finish out their 6 game week with a League reschedule at Columbia Central tomorrow. Then they will head to Chelsea Saturday for their invitational.
