The 8th grade girls volleyball team defeated the Whiteford Bobcats on Monday, September 23 with scores of 25-10, 13-25, and 25-9. Kyleigh Ramos led all servers with 15 points and 7 aces. Other scores on the night were Stella Starnes with 7 points (2 aces), Sammy Starnes with 5 points (4 aces), Robin Mull with 4 points (2 aces), Nalani Schanze with 3 points (2 aces), Rebeca Ureche with 3 points (1 ace) and Elena Rosas and Marissa York each contributed 1 point. Nalani Schanz, Kyleigh Ramos, and Chloe Drew led the offense with assists. Kendall Phillip has 2 kills at the net. Nalani Schanz, Sammy Starnes, Rebeca Ureche, and Kyleigh Ramos each had 1 kill apiece. The girls are home on Wednesday, September 25 to face the Sand Creek Aggies. The team is 2-3-2 on the season and 1-2 in the TCC.
