The 7th grade team was back at home and played well against Blissfield.  They started off strong with their serves and continued to work as a team throughout the game.  They took all three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-7.  Brooklynn Kranz had 12 points (9 aces), Addison Loftis had 10 points (6 aces), Zoey Riddle had 9 points (5 aces), Amelia Harsh had 6 points, CC Carruba had 5 points, Josslyn Handy and Kylie Hicks had 3. The girls are working well together and focusing on the basics to amplify their game.  Keep it up Redwolves!

On Monday, October 9th, the 8th grade added another win, defeating Blissfield 26-24, 25-5, and 25-12. Blissfield came out strong in the first set, leading most of the time. Towards the end of the set, they were up 24-20. After a missed serve/side out from Blissfield, Molly Sierer stepped up and confidently served 5 straight points to lead her team to victory! With that boost of confidence, the team dominated the next two sets. At the net, Joslyn Kranz led with a season high, 8 kills. Abby Sheneman and Melanie Lukas made smart plays to contribute 3 kills each. Our strong serving kept us on offense for the majority of the game. Rylee Pepper led with 10 points(4 aces). Molly Sierer added 9 points(1 aces) followed by Sunny Sachin with 7 points(5 aces). We’re back at home on Wednesday to take on the Ida Bluestreaks.
