The 7th grade team played well today at the LCAA tournament.  They beat Hillsdale (25-13, 25-8), Dundee (25-13, 25-6) and Hudson (25-20, 25-10) to win the conference! They adapted to game situations, communicated and fought hard. Scoring leaders were Addison Loftis, Brooklynn Kranz, Zoey Riddle and Kylie Hicks.  Cecilia Carruba was an unstoppable force in backrow passing.  Great job ladies!

The 8th grade volleyball team won their second consecutive LCAA tournament this weekend. The team won 3 matches to earn the championship: 

Hillsdale: 25-9, 25-15

Dundee: 25-13, 25-18

Ida: 25-9, 25-10

Emily Farmer led in serving with 34 points(11 aces). Following close behind was Melanie Lukas(17/10), Joslyn Kranz(10/3), Erin Burton(9/3), and Molly Sierer(8/5). Great passing in the back row by Lexi Tzortzinis, Alicianna Freebairn, Lila Kennedy, and Rylee Pepper led to many opportunities at the net for our offense. Leading the way in kills was Melanie Lukas with 9, followed by Joslyn Kranz with 8, Molly Sierer with 7, Rylee Pepper with 6, and Abby Sheneman with 4.  

Both teams will finish their season next week with 2 home games on Monday and Wednesday.
