The Redwolves wrestling Red team traveled up to Ann Arbor Skyline on Friday to compete in their annual JV tournament. This was a great opportunity for all of the young men that went to get valuable mat time. Clinton had four tournament champions: Hudson Miller, Jake Halchishak, Carter Wolf, and Owen Wright. Austin Putnam and John Keebler took home a second place finish. Landon Lakatos and Drew McNatt fought hard for a third place finish. Aiden Johnson, Carson Ehnis, and Chance Maddox took home fourth. Lucas Coughlin battled for a fifth place finish. Brody Wenn and Shane Cook finished in sixth place. Jonah Hahn, Cory Hoover, Griffin Bowers, and Jayden Duplessis all battled extremely hard but came up just short of placing. Halchishak had two pins on the day including a fall in the finals to take home first place. Wolff Pinned his way all the way through the finals capturing three falls on the day. Putnam recorded two pins on the day on his way to a second place finish. I was super proud of this group and how they competed. Every wrestler went out there and scored points, from our first place finishers to the ones that didn’t place.
