The Redwolves wrestling Red team traveled to Holt High School to compete in their JV individual tournament. We had a very long, yet successful day all together in which we had twenty wrestlers place! Keegan Keith and Austin Putnam took home a first place finish, combing for eight falls. Shane Cook also placed first for the first time in his career. Lucas Coughlin and Lucas Goetting both had a career best day as well, taking home second place in each of their weight classes. Other second place finishers included Jake Halchishak, Jayden Duplessis, Will Hawkins, and John Keibler. Jonah Hahn and Landon Lakatos battled hard and earned a pair of third place finishes. Brody Wenn and Drew McNatt had a strong day, each with a fourth place finish. Tim Isyk, Chance Maddox, and Carson Ehnis placed fifth on the day. Isyk placed for the first time in his rookie season. Hudson Miller, Cory Hoover, Tanner Bolton, and Royce Martinez had a solid performance on the day finishing 6th. Despite having to be there for a long day, I loved how our kids fought hard and improved on the day!
